Order and setup
From the configurator to a running server: what happens when you order, what you confirm along the way and when your server is ready.
Ordering
Put it together
In the configurator you choose the game or system, the resources and the term, and put everything in the cart. You do not need an account for this yet.
Cart
In the cart the portal checks the prices again on every visit and tells you if anything has changed. You pay in advance; the term starts with the payment. There is no setup fee.
Go to checkout asks you to sign in; there is no password: you get a sign-in link by email (valid for ten minutes) or sign in with a passkey. The first time, this creates your account.
Checkout
On your first purchase the checkout asks once for your billing address. Then you choose what happens after the first term: Renew automatically (the payment method is saved, balance is used first) or Pay in advance (nothing is saved, the invoice comes 7 days before the term ends). If you have a balance, Use balance pays the order in full or in part (balance at checkout).
Confirm and pay
With one tick you agree to the terms and expressly ask us to start before the withdrawal period ends; both declarations are written out next to it. How we process your data is explained in the linked privacy policy. Then Order with obligation to pay; payment runs through Stripe, card details never reach our servers.
If you order a VPS or container, the checkout also picks the SSH keys for the new server. How you sign in afterwards is described in First login to a VPS.
After the payment
Stripe sends you to your order's page. It first shows Checking and updates itself until the payment is confirmed. With a direct debit this can take longer; the page then says the confirmation is still pending.
Once the payment is in, each server is created at once and appears under Servers as Being set up. The order page shows progress in four steps: Paid, Allocation, Installation, Online. This usually takes a few minutes. You get an order confirmation by email and, as soon as the server runs, the message Your server is ready. The invoice is under Invoices and in your notifications.
An order left unpaid for 7 days expires. If a payment failed, nothing was charged; try again with Pay again.
An offer made for you
If we have put together an offer for you, you get a link or a code (GF-ANG- and six characters). Enter the code under Open an offer. The offer page shows what is included, what is due today and for each further term, and until when it is valid. Accept offer takes you through the same checkout.
Withdrawal
As a consumer you can withdraw within the first 14 days; you then only pay for the time the server was already running. How this works is in Withdrawal and cancellation.
