Uptime Kuma as a ready app
Monitoring for your websites and services with a status page, run and updated by us: sign in, add monitors, connect notifications.
First steps
Sign in
Open the address from the Overview, such as
uptime-….goodflare.me, and sign in asadminwith the password from First login, which can be shown exactly once.Add your first monitor
In Uptime Kuma, “Add New Monitor” checks a website (HTTP, also for a keyword on the page), a TCP port or a DNS record at an interval you choose.
Get notified
In Uptime Kuma's settings you connect where an alert goes, such as email through your own SMTP access, Discord or ntfy, and pick it on the monitor.
Status pages
A status page shows the state of chosen monitors in public, without signing in. You create it in Uptime Kuma under the status pages; it then lives at your address with /status/ and the name you give it. Everything else stays behind the sign-in.
To your phone with ntfy
If you also rent ntfy, Uptime Kuma sends its alerts there: choose ntfy as the notification and enter your ntfy server's address, a topic and an ntfy account that may send on that topic.
Password
You set a new password for admin under App settings with Set a new password. You see the new one exactly once; the old one stops working, and signed-in browsers are signed out.
Updates and backups
We keep Uptime Kuma up to date. Before every update we make a safety copy and check afterwards that the app answers; otherwise we restore the copy. A backup with your monitors, status pages and history is made every night; under Backups you make more, download them or restore them.
Good to know
- Monitors for websites (HTTP and keyword), TCP ports and DNS work. Ping monitors (ICMP) are not possible with us: check a server through an open port instead.
- The checks start from our servers. Check only services that are yours or that you may check; our terms apply here too.
- This app has no files, console or startup parameters: we run it, you use it.
- Uptime Kuma is open source (MIT).
