Share a server: sharing with permissions
Invite players, moderators or admins by email and decide exactly what each person may do. Invoices, passwords and sharing stay with you.
You manage sharing in your server's Sharing tab. Only the person who ordered the server sees this tab.
Invite someone
Press Invite someone and enter the email address.
Under May choose the rights, quickest with a preset, and adjust them if needed.
Press Invite. The person gets an email; they have no access until they accept.

Accepting the invitation
The invited person signs in with exactly the invited email address (an account is created if they have none yet) and presses Accept, in the link from the email or on their overview. The server then appears for them under Shared with you.
Change or revoke rights
The list shows who has accepted and who is still waiting. Change rights takes effect at once. Withdraw a pending invitation or revoke an accepted one, each with a held confirmation. Send again sends the email once more (at most every 10 minutes).
Parts of a split server
A part you split off a Minecraft server under Split can take over the main server's shares (when you create it, or later in the part's menu: Take over shares). While that is on, new shares, changed rights and removed shares on the main server apply to the part as well; an invitation is accepted only once. Shares you give on the part alone stay as they are and are marked there as its own. Switch it off and the shares taken over stay as the part's own.
What is never shared
Invoices, the plan, changing the game, moving from another host, cloning, splitting and the sharing itself stay with you. Others never see your email address. Each person signs in to SFTP with their own account and password.
Limits
- At most 10 people per server; pending and declined invitations count too.
- Invitations go by email only, not by link or user name.
- Transferring the server to someone else is not possible here; write us a ticket for that.
