Memos as a ready app
Short notes in Markdown, private or with your team, run and updated by us: sign in, write your first memo, add members.
First steps
Sign in
Open the address from the Overview, such as
memos-….goodflare.me, and sign in asadminwith the password from First login, which can be shown exactly once.Write your first memo
Memos are written in Markdown. A word with
#in front becomes a tag, and the tags find memos again.Choose who sees it
Each memo is private, visible to signed-in members or public; you choose while writing.
Members
Sign-up is closed: nobody creates an account for themselves. As admin, you add more accounts in Memos under Settings › Members and pass the password on yourself.
Password
You set a new password for admin under App settings with Set a new password; you see the new one exactly once. Memos sends no mail with us; members change their own password in Memos in their account settings.
Updates and backups
We keep Memos up to date. Before every update we make a safety copy and check afterwards that the app answers; otherwise we restore the copy. A backup with memos, attachments and accounts is made every night; under Backups you make more, download them or restore them.
Good to know
- Attachments count towards your app's storage (3 GB).
- Anyone with the link sees a public memo, without signing in.
- This app has no files, console or startup parameters: we run it, you use it.
- You are responsible for the content you and your members save; our terms apply here too.
- Memos is open source (MIT).
